Keeping our relationships clean or cleaning them up and caring for others in our communities. Indeed! We can all do that and it makes a much bigger difference than we might ever imagine.

Lately, I've been toting bags of beans, plums, cucumbers and tomatoes to appointments and meetings because my garden is yielding more than I can eat. I've given them to strangers walking by my house and told my neighbors to feel free to pick the plums on the tree above the street. I actually love this. It gives me such pleasure to see their faces. It's not much, but it opens something up between us. I can feel it.

I guess I forgot the point… not to blow my own horn (I feel like I benefit the most from this), but that if we think just a smidge outside the box we can all make a difference by doing easy things that feel good.

I wish I could trust us all to be logical and calm… because you’re right when they crumble and fall, there will be chaos and confusion… for those that chose not to be enlightened, not to be awake, not to care. Their realities will turn harsh.

It's not that I trust, it's that I feel a need to put the idea out there, Najwan. Take good care.

The biggest factor preventing world peace has been the US foreign policy over the 70 years or so. What is not allowing then ending of the genocide taking is the US supplying it with weapons. The corrupt American political duopoly both favor continuing to arm Israel. Fortunately there is an alternative in Dr. Jill Stein and Butch Ware of the Green Party.

I agree, Zachary. I hope Dr. Jill Stein becomes the next president.

Outstanding analysis of the situation, Diana. We are truly in desperate times. This commentary was well-written and well-researched. The list of products to boycott is an excellent and informative tool. Your beautiful vision is what the world needs. Thank you for this (and for the beautiful painting)!!
