Shukran Diana. I wholeheartedly agree that we should all be encouraged and motivated to be active players in this world. And not in the distraction commodified misinformation disinformation kind of way. But the kind that uplifts us all because we are all human and we share one finite world.

Viva la 🇵🇸 and all those oppressed and suffering across the globe.

Thanks so much, Najwan!

The number one thing on our list should be to stop the killing in Palestine and get some aid in!

The most difficult part for me is that some friends and family don't want to speak to me because they see me as "obsessed" with something that is "far away" and "does not affect them". I have been called a "rabid antisemite". I have been told that I "love Hamas". I have been blocked by email and text. I have been told that the articles I forward are hurtful and it is me that is the hurtful one, not the people in the articles. Once, in a meeting, I was referred to as "feisty" for not fully supporting what was being said. Feisty means someone who is courageous, especially if they are intellectually impaired or old. Fortunately I still have friends and acquaintances that I can discuss with, disagree with, count on to be there who do not see me as "feisty". I do all the things I can to promote a healthier better world and I work on seeing the humanity in everyone. But there are days when it can be difficult.

That sounds really difficult, Susan.

I have family that don't agree with me, and that's pretty hurtful. And I had another friend who is an environmental activist accuse me of listening to fake news in order to believe that Israel is committing genocide. I think she's probably changed her mind. But it sounds like a real inundation for you.

I'm really glad you have friends and acquaintances on the same page. It's so crazy making, even with others who can relate.

For me, it's completely delegitimized the western political and media system who have been aiding, supporting and covering for Israel as it commits these atrocities.

Take good care.

The Bibi files doc is 2 hours of the jawdropping disgustingness of Netanyahu, his wife, his son and his ministers. Not nice or easy to watch but probably we do need to know just how corrupt and cruel these people are. And, of course, similar docs could probably be made about other world leaders and their cohorts.

Feisty is a compliment in my dictionary!

guess it depends which dictionary you use. I don't really want to be told I am feisty. Especially not in a meeting where I am saying something that some may not totally accept or agree with.

feistiness noun

Did you know?

In some parts of the southern United States, the word feist (pronounced to rhyme with heist) has been used since the 18th century as a term for a small dog used in hunting more diminutive game animals (such as squirrels). The word comes from the much older, now obsolete word fisting (pronounced as “feisting” would be) meaning “breaking wind,” which was used scornfully in the 16th and 17th centuries to describe gassy pooches. Feisty developed in the late 19th century, its flatulent origin lost, but its small-dog association still visible with a squint: the term conveys the spunk and determination that one may associate with a dog that manages to make its presence known, through its bark or its bite—or perhaps even its indifference to olfactory decorum—despite its small size.

I know the word is used derogatorily, particularly in reference to small women, but I don't take it that way. I'd much rather be called feisty than a bitch!
