I’ve been thinking a lot about the colonization of North America lately, and only recently learned that the so-called “American Indian Wars” lasted nearly 300 years. It’s crazy to think how many people act like the colonization of Palestine is ancient history when it began about 75 yrs ago.
To understand what is happening with the US/Israel genocide in Gaza I strongly urge people to learn about the history of Zionism and it's essential take over of the US government. To understand Zionism one has to look at the collaborative of Zionists with Nazis in WW II Germany. I have read a lot of history but what I have learned since the Oct. 7 break out of the Gaza concentration has literally me.
Here is a piece on Tony Greenstein -- who raised an Orthodox Jew and his father was rabbi and his amazing book. There is a link to excellent interview with him in this post I put up: "Jewish Scholar's Book Reveals Zionism's Fascist Roots & Close Collaborative Role With Nazi Regime" ... https://mark192.substack.com/p/jewish-scholars-book-reveals-fascist
Additionally, the film Tantura reveals what the founding of Israel in 1948 was about and how it was done. I did this piece on it: "Documentary Film 'Tantura' Exposes The True Origin Of Israel & The Brutal Fascism It Represents" ... https://mark192.substack.com/p/documentary-film-tantura-exposes
Zionism is an active betrayal of Judiasm and why so many of the protest have been led by Jews.
Until Zionism is accurately understood there is no way to understand the evil you are describing Diana. Truly, we are facing something that horrible, and make no mistake -- as we saw with Netanyahu's visit to Congress, it is running not just our role in the genocide but the fascism spreading across our nation and through our lives.
I've been reading about Zionism's history too, Mike, and ya, it's scary. Fascism is spreading across our nations, for sure. The support Israel is getting from our leaders makes me shudder.
Palestinians are the “unpeople”, according to Noam Chomsky. Nobody in a high position of power willing to stand up for them. Other Arab nations won’t take them in
"Other Arab nations won't take them in", really? Millions have fled to near and far, but the real question should be why do the Palestinians have to leave, it's their land. These European Zionist settlers have stolen the homes and livelihoods of the indigenous semite peoples.
There is no reason for them to have to leave. They were forced out by the west. I’m Jewish and had that propaganda shoved down my throat, but I spit it back up and sympathize with Palestinians
The chills were a compliment. I think that people interpret art individually, and for me the picture resonated with the feelings that your post engendered in me, personally. I think that it did fit the post - powerfully and artistically.
I feel like that face,
convulsing confused,
broken apart,
please I beg?,
united we stand,
#FreePalestine,
this whole,
damn globe
Thanks so much for making a poem, Najwan. Free Palestine!
RFK
I remember when I loved the man
Thought he would save the day
Loved the environment
And believed in my right to say nay
When it comes to things injected
Things to which I have long since objected
Being expected or mandated
But even though people who made my choice
Were subjugated
Not allowed in restaurants or had to eat out back on the patio
And our voices were sedated our removed
My spidy sense read RFK’s lawsuit and who was on it and who was not
And I began to have a suspicion that controlled opposition was influencing the plot
And somewhere last summer I realized in my intuition I would not vote…again
Although I had hoped
Perhaps this cycle, perhaps
I slightly moped, then trusted my soul’s guidance and moved on
And then when he embraced the narrative he chose on Israel
I realized my intuition was spot on
And when he endorsed Trump…
And the way he did it
Just weeks after he said he was in it to win it
It seemed disingenuous to say the least
Was he blackmailed?
Was he always going to do this?
Why are so few able to see the triplets for what they are?
Why do they think freedom comes
When with these three - the one that rhymes with tusk
The one that own the place where girls were recruited for Epstein
The one who sold out those who wanted a candidate who loves the earth and believes our bodies are our choices on all relevant decisions…
Why do people let themselves by led by such false visions?
I don’t know
But I was once misled too
I grew up an environmentalist
Until I saw it wasn't really about loving our Mother Earth
Integrity - of that, there was a dearth!
I've never had much feeling for Jill Stein
And I learned this year that Eugenics has always been part of the Environmentalist movement
As it has been birthed by white colonizers
Look who funded Rachel Carson
And they funded Eugenics and Nazi things too
Those who want to control the earth and exploit her are behind most green agenda
And the interventions they would choose
To cover the sky with aluminum or sulfur would deplete the ozone further
Which contributes to c climate change
The same Elon Musk's rockets and satellites
When they go bust
And the military how it contributes to the decimation of our skies and water and soil
How can to them we entrust
Our security?
Not not the right or the left
If we choose the alternate
It's just the same theft
Veiled
So agendas won't be derailed
I was once excited about Barack Obama
And I voted for him with glee
And believed he would be
What he conveyed in his inspirational speeches
But I saw what he didn’t do on immigration
I saw the way he delayed the atrocity at Standing Rock so it would land on someone else’s door step
Without doing right to the Indigenous Peoples
I saw where he stood on the TPP
I saw increasingly his hypocrisy
I remember when I voted for him an Indigenous woman who worked at my son’s school said
If voting mattered, they wouldn’t let us do it
I am not a cynic
I am not jaded
I am simply aware
Of how our energy and views are manipulated and traded
And until we all decide we’ve had enough
And are ready to co-create governance that is both soft and tough
That allows freedom for the masses and holds corps and gov accountable
Regardless of classes
That fosters the flourishing and abundance for all
Without tokenizing us all
Without excluding those who opt out of biodigitial ID
Without compromising mother earth to let the military continue to desecrate humanity and our our planetary body
Until we believe we are worthy
We will sell out to the lesser or greater evil however we see it
But when we are worthy we will proclaim and live into a world
That is so beautiful you would not now believe it
So you’ll not find me at the polls
You’ll find me on garden strolls
But you bet I’ll participate when their is something to truly celebrate
Thanks for your poem, Alicia.

Those folks are deathly afraid of losing their privilege.
Palestinians are the “unpeople”, according to Noam Chomsky. Nobody in a high position of power willing to stand up for them. Other Arab nations won’t take them in
That's so sad. I think, in many ways, we're all becoming "unpeople", especially when we stand up for Palestine.
But looking at our eroding living standards, it doesn't look like we're generally considered very important either.
"Other Arab nations won't take them in", really? Millions have fled to near and far, but the real question should be why do the Palestinians have to leave, it's their land. These European Zionist settlers have stolen the homes and livelihoods of the indigenous semite peoples.

Great post, Diana. The picture gives me chills.....
Thanks, Leon, I think...
I didn't think I would use that painting, but it seemed to fit the post.

I might read some of this out at my peace demo today. Thank you, as usual!
Thanks, Karl. I'm glad you're having a peace demo, and you're welcome to use any of my writing any time.
Once I get the video off the camera I'll share it with you. I read about half (attributed to you, of course!)
Exciting! Someone else reading my words! Thanks, Karl.
Now done at https://kdgreenparty.substack.com/p/genocide-is-racism !
Thanks for naming this, Karl. It needs to be seen for what it is.
The painting resonates with Picasso’s Guernica.
Wow! Thanks, Heidi. I didn't think I'd use it, but it seemed to fit the writing.
