Your art is exquisite Diana mashallah.

And yes indeed, “[…] the idea of solidarity is great.”

I wish we lived our lives more deliberately, with gratitude and empathy in our hearts, every conversation and interaction. The world is crying out for humanity and all I see most days are chatbots and propaganda… and of course our babies dying in Falastin.

God bless you for your kind sweet heart ♥️

And you for your kind sweet heart too, Najwan.

I love what you said about living more deliberately, with gratitude and empathy in our hearts, every conversation and interaction. I think the world is crying out for this too.

And Palestine, and all the killing...just unbearable.

Wishing you sweet dreams, a good sleep and a better tomorrow, Najwan.🌸

Yes inshallah the new day brings new promise. I walked over to a coffee shop per baby bro's recommendation called Crema. Abu Dhabi is the same and different all at the same time, will start writing today's words for Falastin with my flat white.

🇵🇸♥️🙏

I can relate to what you have written Diana, even having a family is a privilege that many no longer have. Appreciate you promoting the boycott, the power of £$, is important now.

Thanks, Susan. Yes, family gatherings, at least for me, aren't what they used to be. People are scattered around, and get together less.

That true for me as well, I am not sure if it’s a getting older or a culture change. With families scattered geographically . Thanks for the restack 🙏🏻

Solidarity is a form of love. When coupled to the truth it unites in the service of life.

I agree, Joel. Thanks for putting that so succinctly.

I wish I did have some good suggestions for dealing with family during the holidays... None of mine ever come to visit, so I never have to deal with them. Both a blessing and a curse. Maybe it's not a bad thing to have a bit of controversy--at least you're talking with each other.

It's true. It's nice to have things to talk about. I've heard of lots of conversations that get pretty out of hand, resulting in yelling and screaming at each other.

We only scream at those we love? (If they didn't care, they wouldn't waste breath screaming.)

I've heard this before. Personally, I don't think screaming is a great demonstration of love.

Well written Diana. Very perceptive. It is so easy to get excessively rattled these days, cause we are all so close to the edge with the world being as it is.

And, wow, that list is something else. 😭
